Traverse County Warrant Records Traverse County Warrant Records

Most warrant questions belong with a county office in Wheaton rather than with us, and the routing below sends each one to the right desk. This page also explains what a private reference site can and cannot do, so nobody spends a day waiting on an answer we are not able to give.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm a warrant, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. For any of that, contact the court that holds the case or the Traverse County Sheriff's Office directly.

Need Official Warrant Information?

These are the offices that answer warrant questions in Traverse County, and what each one handles:

  • Court records, hearings, and payments: Traverse County Court Administration, the office that keeps the local District Court file and can explain the warrant entry on a case
  • Custody, service, and booking: the Traverse County Sheriff's Office, which serves warrants and runs the county jail and dispatch center
  • A missed court date or an unpaid citation: the District Court file itself, since the warrant lives with the case rather than with a city office
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: a licensed Minnesota attorney working with the issuing court, which is the only office that can recall a warrant

Traverse County Court Administration is at 702 Second Avenue North, P.O. Box 867, Wheaton, MN 56296, and answers at 320-422-6010 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The jury line is 320-422-6011 and the fax is 320-563-4311.

The Traverse County Sheriff's Office is at the courthouse, 203 7th Street North, P.O. Box 826, Wheaton, MN 56296, and answers at 320-422-7800, with a fax at 320-563-8700. That number also serves the jail and dispatch, so it is the line for custody and fingerprint questions as well. Use 911 only for an emergency.

Neither office publishes a warrant-specific form, email address, or walk-in warrant window. Ask what a request needs before sending it, and remember that records beyond the first seven pages carry a fee.
