Why We Built This Site
Minnesota publishes a great deal of court and law-enforcement information, and the difficulty is never access. It is routing. A warrant does not sit in one place. A judge signs it, a court file holds it, a sheriff serves it, and a jail books the person it names. Each of those offices answers a different version of the same question, and only some of them publish anything online.
Traverse County adds its own wrinkles. The Sheriff's Office publishes a periodic list rather than a searchable database. The state case portal leaves out some pending criminal and traffic cases when a reader searches by name. Warrant index data can stay confidential until custody, service, or a court appearance. It is easy to check one office, come up empty, and draw the wrong conclusion. We gather the office names, numbers, request steps, and case-number formats into one place so a reader can start in the right spot instead of guessing.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Minnesota court, the Traverse County Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. The limits are real:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or tell anyone whether a warrant exists
- We cannot recall, quash, clear, or remove a warrant from any system
- We cannot post bond or accept payment toward a case
- We cannot schedule a court date or arrange a surrender
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to a situation
- We cannot promise that every number, fee, or listing on this site is current at this moment
Only the court that issued a warrant or the Sheriff's Office that serves it can confirm whether it exists and whether it has been recalled. We point readers to those offices; the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes operated by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services, and when one leads to a paid signup we may receive a referral fee, which helps keep this site free to read. We do not control their pricing, their coverage, or their results, and nothing they return counts as an official warrant check.
